Agriculture/Heavy Equipment Sales Specialist

What you will do:

• Sell new and used agricultural and heavy equipment to new and existing customers within a defined territory.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers by understanding their equipment needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Stay up to date on product knowledge, including the latest features, benefits, and technology advancements.
• Conduct field demonstrations of equipment and assist with customer events to showcase product capabilities.
• Utilize CRM software to manage customer interactions, track sales opportunities, and maintain accurate records.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer business developments, providing timely insights to management.
• Assist customers with financing options and provide guidance on purchasing decisions.
• Maintain a professional company image, ensuring vehicles and equipment are presentable at all times.
• Attend sales training events and industry seminars to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Evaluate and stay informed on used equipment values and market trends.

What You Will Need

• At least 1 year of experience in equipment sales, preferably in agriculture or heavy machinery.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural and turf equipment, with a preference for candidates familiar with farming or operational practices.
• Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office and other standard desktop applications.
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours to meet customer needs.
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
