Position:

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Apparel Designer with a strong technical knowledge of apparel construction and textiles. This role requires a creative eye for design and color, and the ability to develop and create original silhouettes and prints. Experience in designing for the sportswear market is a plus! The Apparel Designer will be responsible for creating trend-right, market-appropriate designs and production art for the product category. This role combines apparel design with textile and print design expertise. The designer will work closely with Product Managers & Marketing team to drive our product vision across multiple product lines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Product Managers to develop original designs and sketches for assigned categories through detailed design briefs and creative input.

  • Create print and pattern design to support the brand identity through surface design on fabric.

  • Research and identify fashion and cultural trends relevant to our target customers.

  • Maintain style boards and line sheets, ensuring consistent communication across teams.

  • Participate in design reviews, approve final line drawings for sampling, and specify materials and finishes in collaboration with manufacturing partners.

  • Conduct market research and comparative shopping to scout for emerging styles and insights.

  • Develop precise technical drawings to guide patternmakers and the technical design team, ensuring that all product specifications are clear and consistent.

  • Provide inspiration to Marketing by introducing new garment colors, prints, and design elements.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Apparel Design or equivalent experience.

  • 3-5 years of design experience in apparel. Experience with sportswear is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of pattern making, fabric properties, garment construction, fit development, and sewing terminology.

  • Expertise in print and textile design, including creating and sketching original prints and patterns.

  • Strong interest in market research and a good pulse on market trends.

  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

  • Must provide a link to an online portfolio or PDF samples with application.
