Jettison is representing a law firm in Wilmington, Delaware is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join their thriving Bankruptcy, Restructuring, and Litigation practice. Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in complex bankruptcy proceedings and restructuring matters
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Conduct legal research and analysis on bankruptcy and litigation issues
- Participate in client meetings and court hearings
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and execution
- Manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar license in good standing in Delaware
- 1-4 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, creditors' rights, or commercial litigation
- Strong academic credentials and excellent legal research and writing skills
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and Delaware Bankruptcy Court procedures
- Familiarity with financial statements and corporate finance concepts
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
