Crisis Intervention Specialist:
Join our new and innovative Mobile Crisis Team! Cummins is adding to the Crisis Team in hopes of reaching more people in need in Hendricks County. We are seeking a motivated individual to become a FULL-TIME Crisis Intervention Specialist. The Crisis Specialist will be responsible for managing communication around a range of crisis situations, including telephone responses, in person care, and when deemed necessary become part of a mobile crisis response team. A Crisis Specialist will provide risk assessments and de-escalation interventions for both existing Cummins' consumers and those not yet engaged in Cummins' services. This position will collaborate with community partners such as shelters, law enforcement, acute inpatient hospitals.
When deemed necessary, crisis team members go mobile within Hendricks County. What does this mean? At minimum, a pair of providers go to the home, school, or community to provide thorough crisis assessments and actionable steps to bring safety to the person in need. The mobile teams use contemporary and evidence-based practices (training is provided) to bring those in crisis to recovery.

Schedule:
We have various crisis shifts including daytime, evening, overnights, and weekends available. Open for discussion about the shift times.
Compensation:
Pay starts at $43,600 annually, with additional salary commensurate with experience, education, and/or licensure.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, or related field.
