Description:

• DBT and Snowflake Engineer.
• We are looking of an adept and forward-thinking Data Lead to become an integral part of our dynamic team.
• In this leadership role, you will be instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing scalable, effective data solutions.
• Your responsibilities will encompass collaborating with divisional teams, comprehending business needs, and spearheading the migration of data and ETL processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Migration Efforts from Oracle to Snowflake and from Snowflake Jobs to DBT.
• Investigate the current Oracle data and pinpoint the innovative Snowflake data source.
• Data Modeling: Develop and implement scalable and efficient data models, encompassing both relational and non-relational databases, to meet business requirements.
• Database Management: Supervise database management systems, ensuring optimum performance, security, and adherence to best practices.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data scientists, and software developers, to comprehend data requirements.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and rectify performance bottlenecks in data-related processes, optimizing queries and database performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven 10 years of experience in a Lead Data role or a similar capacity.
• Significant experience in implementing Snowflake and DBT (mandatory).
• Preferred experience in Migration projects.
• Bonus points for experience in the Insurance industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (mandatory).
• Leadership experience in guiding data teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Snowflake and DBT) are advantageous
