About the job Data Entry Specialist Data Entry Specialist Baytown, TX, seeking energetic detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently entering and managing customer data into our SAP system while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to company standards. You will work closely with customer service representatives and other teams to maintain seamless operations and provide excellent service to our clients. Key Responsibilities: -> Data Entry & Management: Working in the Customer Service Department; Accurately enter customer information, order details, and service requests into the SAP system. o Update and maintain customer records, including personal information, order histories, and contact details, ensuring data accuracy and completeness. o Process customer orders, returns, and inquiries promptly and input relevant data into the SAP system. • Customer Service Support: o Provide data entry support to the customer service team by ensuring all customer interactions are logged correctly. o Assist with generating reports from SAP to track customer orders, service requests, and inventory updates. o Collaborate with customer service representatives to resolve data discrepancies or issues related to customer orders or information. • SAP System Utilization: o Use SAP software to process orders, update customer details, and manage inventory data. o Ensure accurate data entry in SAP, following established procedures to minimize errors and inconsistencies. o Troubleshoot basic SAP system issues related to data entry, working with the IT or SAP support teams when necessary. •Data Verification & Quality Control: o Review and validate customer data to ensure it is accurate and up to date. o Monitor incoming data for consistency and ensure it aligns with company policies and customer requirements. o Maintain a high level of attention to detail while entering and verifying data. •Documentation & Reporting: o Generate and prepare reports as needed for the customer service department, ensuring the timely distribution of information. o Document and track any customer service inquiries, requests, or complaints for future reference or escalation. • Team Collaboration: o Work closely with other customer service team members, managers, and departments to ensure smooth communication and data flow. o Participate in meetings or training to enhance knowledge of SAP processes and customer service practices. Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data entry, preferably in a customer service environment.
  • Strong experience using SAP for data entry, order processing, and customer service functions.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive customer data with confidentiality and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in customer service or a related field.
  • Previous experience working with SAP modules such as Sales & Distribution (SD) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting or resolving SAP-related data entry issues.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable with technology and open to learning new systems or software as required.
Bilingual A+ but not required. Working Conditions:
  • Standard office environment.
  • May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines or handle high-volume periods.
7:30 am -5 pm Monday to Friday - must be open to OT and weekend Alltex Staffing Personnel
