Environment Control is searching for a particularly professional daytime janitorial worker in or near Coeur D’Alene, ID who is comfortable with those in authority figure roles.

A clear state and federal criminal history is required, which will be verified by an extensive background check. The background check process can take up to 1-2 weeks and must be completed before the position/training will begin.

Environment Control is a locally owned building service company doing business in the Inland Northwest area for over 50 years. We focus on quality janitorial service in professional or medical facilities. We are growing and are looking for quality individuals to join our team!

• Able to lift 50 pounds daily, possibly multiple times a day

What a Day Porter does:

• Learn and apply Environment Control procedures, uphold Environment Control standards
• Floor cleaning such as: mopping, dusting, vacuuming
• Restroom cleaning such as: restocking soap and hand sanitizer dispensers, emptying trashes, wiping all touch points, toilet cleaning
• General office cleaning such as: emptying trashes, wiping/dusting all touch points and surfaces
• Communicate regularly with supervisor regarding repairs needed to assigned facility
• Communicate regularly with those in the building
• Maintain confidentiality

What we require:

• Clear state and federal background check
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• At least 18 years of age
• Have a valid ID and reliable transportation
• Be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
• Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
