About the Role
The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Business and Entrepreneurship. The successful candidate will be an ethical and strategic leader, responsible for driving the college's global vision, strategy, and goals in alignment with the university's and the Kansas Board of Regents' strategic plans. This role involves overseeing the college's governance, morale, and the recruitment, development, and supervision of personnel. The Dean will also be tasked with building and maintaining strong relationships with various partners to advance the college's mission, as well as ensuring the quality, assessment, and continuous improvement of college programs and processes. Championing diversity, equity, and inclusion, managing budgets effectively, and fostering a culture of academic citizenship are also key responsibilities. Applicants for the Dean position at the company should hold a terminal degree in business or a related field and have superior leadership experience in academics or business. The role requires a proven track record in fiscal and supervisory responsibilities, as well as a commitment to succession planning and the development of collaborative relationships. Desired skills include experience in organizational growth, team empowerment, and a strong understanding of online education and international partnerships. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be nimble and responsive, and have experience in fundraising and development activities. The Dean will be expected to attract and cultivate talented students, faculty, and staff, and have experience with recruitment, retention, promotion, tenure, and program review.
