Responsibilities •Operate horizontal directional drilling equipment to accurately install underground utilities, pipelines, and infrastructure components
•Interpret and implement drilling plans, blueprints, and specifications for precise and efficient installations
•Perform maintenance and troubleshoot drilling equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reduce downtime
•Follow established safety protocols to uphold a secure work environment for all team members in Fowler, California
•Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and team members to meet project objectives
•Monitor drilling progress closely, making necessary adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency in Fowler, California
•Record and report drilling activities, including progress, challenges, and equipment upkeep
•Keep the work area clean and organized to promote a safe environment for all team members in Fowler, California
•Adapt to changing job site requirements and undertake additional tasks as needed
•Mix mud to correct viscosity and have knowledge of necessary additives based on ground conditions in Fowler, California
Qualifications •Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
•Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Directional Driller, preferably in the underground utilities or pipeline industry
•Proficient in operating horizontal directional drilling equipment and related tools
•Strong understanding of drilling procedures, safety protocols, and industry best practices
•Ability to read and interpret drilling plans, blueprints, and specifications
•Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work well with others
•Physically fit and able to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy objects, bending, and standing for extended periods
•Willingness to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site requirements
