What we offer: •Salary: $17.00 - $18.50•PTO is offered for part-time employees.
Job Functions: The Donor Services Associate (Assoc) will be responsible to assist with the accurate recording, tracking and acknowledgement of monetary donations. The Assoc is responsible for data integrity and quality service for donor inquiries. The Assoc will be expected to perform any of the following responsibilities but may have primary responsibility on some.
Essential Responsibilities: - SUPPORT THE CASH TEAM: Assist with the processing of gifts daily and overseeing weekly record updates as needed. Assist with both inbound and outbound mail including postage and delivery which may include operating the postage machine stamp, seal mail, picking up mail from our warehouse once per day, sorting of inbound mail, and delivery of daily mail on the Tampa campus. Assist with incoming phone calls in a friendly and helpful manager; other tasks as assigned.
- SUPPORT ADDITIONAL GIFT PROCEDURES: Assist with the producing and processing of receipts and thanking process which may include using the copy machine, inserter, and delivery to the USPS meeting the timelines acceptable to company standards; assist with processing special gift requests, i.e. tribute giving; assist in maintenance of donor records including the elimination of duplicate records and other database cleanup tasks.
- SUPPORT MM HOLIDAY EFFORTS: Assist with training and support of volunteers, seasonal employees and during the holiday season (Oct through Dec); assist with Donor Lane at the Tampa Tent if needed.
- Meets personal goals and actively contributes to the achievement of team and organizational targets/goals as stated on the Balanced Scorecard and in the annual plan.
- Must successfully demonstrate the following skills: Leadership, Problem Solving, Ability to perform multiple tasks, Prioritizing, Speed and Accuracy, Querying and Reporting, and Balancing. Must successfully demonstrate advanced computer skills and problem-solving ability with software.
Requirements
Education and Experience: High School graduate and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams required. Clerical skills including adding machine required. 1 to 2 years proven experience in a related field.
Skill Requirements: Must be able to work within a team framework; must be able to communicate effectively in English; proven dependability; demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity; ability to plan and organize work and attend to detail; ability to handle job related matters in a professional and diplomatic manner. Must be comfortable working with office equipment and have a customer-service mind set; and good phone speaking skills are paramount.
Requires heart for ministry and comfort working with poor and homeless families and individuals. Must demonstrate maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity. Ability to work as part of a team within a multi-disciplinary framework.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time. Ability to walk and climb stairs and to lift 20 lbs. Physical, emotional, and spiritual stamina to handle job-related issues and stress. Must be able to operate all components of a computer (keyboard, monitor, etc) for several hours at a time. Must be able to carry about 40pounds to and from postage machine and to post office.
Other: Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States. Must pass applicable pre-employment background screening procedures.
