Facility Manager

Lynch Ice Arena, Pawtucket, Rhode Island

Through this important work, team members impact customer satisfaction, profitability, and purpose of our mission.

Job Description: Full Time - Sports Facility Manager ability to work mornings, nights/weekends (be flexible with your schedule if needed)

Facility Managers shall work directly with the General Manager and Director of Facilities on all points of concern below.

  1. Interface with Director of Facilities and as a result, schedule Zamboni drivers/staff members for 2-week look ahead and ensure coverage, and
  2. Maintaining ice surfaces so they are at appropriate levels and safe for use,
  3. Delegating tasks to facilities staff and supervising their performance and ensuring all logs/checklists are completed and maintained and
  4. Perform weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual maintenance of mechanical equipment including but not limited to chiller equipment, dehumidifier, and Zamboni, rink boards/glass and
  5. Maintain inventory lists with Director of Facilities for goods weekly and ensure facility is adequately stocked, and
  6. Coordinate landscape/snowplowing contracts against work performed and sign-off work performed, and coordinate other on-site work with vendors and contractors
  7. To assist the Company in evaluating ordinary repairs, alterations and improvements to the Company's Property.
  8. Providing prompt, friendly customer service to all team members and customers.
  9. Aid staff training and in providing consistent support to staff.
  10. Understand and follow company policies, procedures and safety rules.
  1. Aid in the maintenance of the entire building, keeping it clean and free of clutter.
  2. Adhere to company work hours and rules regarding professional staff behavior.
  3. Assist in serving as one of the faces of the company, offering friendly service to those entering the building.

Education: High school diploma or College degree preferred

Work Experiences: Ice Arena experience a plus

Skills:

Excellent customer service skills.

Effective problem solving and communication with customers and team members.

Ability to Problem Solve, take Responsibility, take Pride in what we are doing.

Physical Requirements & Attendance

Must be able to work in a cold environment.

Ability to lift 30lbs

Have basic computer skills

Ability to work flexible schedule nights, weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000 - $50,000.00 - annually
