Summary
INB’s Accounting and Finance department is seeking an Entry Level Financial Data Analyst. In this role, you will gain experience with various report writing and data management systems, while learning, interpreting, and applying financial and accounting concepts to improve processes and systems.
The ideal candidate is adaptable in their thought process and demonstrates a strong aptitude for developing and analyzing data models. This role requires attention to detail, excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines, and the ability to collaborate effectively on tasks including general ledger preparation, financial reporting, audit support, and internal control documentation.
Familiarity with data analytics, a willingness to learn and utilize various financial software applications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential for this role.
Requirements:Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Utilize CSI software to gather data and generate reports
· Utilize Fiserv Vantage software to analyze data and generate reports
· Upload monthly data files into INB’s budgeting and asset-liability management systems
· Assist with the bank’s budgeting process
· Assist with the bank’s internal reporting of business unit level financials & KPIs
· Assist with generating reports and dashboards for market analysis
· Review public funds accounts and pledge securities for collateral as needed
· Coordinate and assist with information requests from internal and external sources
· Complete in depth daily and monthly analysis of select internal accounts
· Develop and implement accounting and finance procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommend appropriate changes
· Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in finance, data analytics, or related field; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills
Familiarity with data analytics, a willingness to learn and utilize various financial software applications, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential for this role.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical and abstract problems where only limited information exists. Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
Mathematical Skills
Working Knowledge and ability to apply mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.
Communication Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Strong written and oral communications skills, to present information and to respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000
