We are seeking a dynamic Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. This role uniquely blends technical expertise, architectural skills, and hands-on coding. You'll design and implement software solutions, contribute to the development of new features and products, and make a significant impact on our technology direction and growth. Position works hybrid and reports to our offices in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The right person for this role will be highly technical and analytical, often acting as a designer, developer, and communicator. The ideal candidate is equally obsessed with delivering the best possible customer experiences and leading and building strong relationships within the team which includes engineers, partners, leaders, and a broad set of stakeholders. This seasoned developer will be able to think long-term, advocate for strong engineering excellence, and bring forth their own software development best practices.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and implement applications across various platforms.
  • Actively contribute to the codebase using Java, Spring Framework, Node.js, Axios, CSS, HTML5, React.js, and Material UI.
  • Develop and implement event-driven architecture.
  • Own critical components and systems, evaluating and adopting new technologies that align with our goals.
  • Collaborate with the team, participating in code reviews to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices.
  • Share expertise through knowledge transfer sessions, building a cohesive, high-performing team.
  • Take ownership of projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams from concept to production.
  • Lead development efforts within the team, fostering continuous learning and improvement without formal leadership responsibilities.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and design considerations for larger system components, ensuring scalability and alignment with growth.
  • Contribute to the technology strategy, driving discussions on new technologies and methodologies.
  • Act as a technical liaison between departments to define, design, and ship features and products.
  • Participate in operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting, ensuring reliability and performance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related field required.
  • Eight (8) years of software development experience, focusing on Java and distributed systems, as well as, proven experience in software architecture and database design required.
  • Minimum education and experience required can be substituted with the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge skills and abilities.
  • Experience with greenfield development and thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Deep & robust understanding of the software development lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of SOA/Microservices and implementation experience.
  • Proficiency in Full Stack Development, building scalable, secure, and efficient software.
  • Knowledge of security compliance and operations, with a focus on data protection and system security.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, thinking strategically and acting tactically.
  • Strong communication skills, articulating complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for technology, a willingness to learn, and a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Specific Tech Stack knowledge in: Java, Spring Framework, Node.js, CSS, HTML5, React.js, Material UI & AWS Solution Architecture – Full Stack.
  • Legally authorized to work in the US is required. This position is of indefinite duration and requires candidates to have permanent or ongoing work authorization.
  • Employee is responsible for maintaining eligible work authorization throughout his tenure with the organization.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field highly desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of Infrastructure Security, Security Compliance and Operations.
  • Deep Knowledge of distributed systems, solutions, and database architecture
