Job Description

Futures Quantitative Trader - New York (Python, C++)

The Role

  • Construct, implement and deploy mid/high frequency futures trading algorithms
  • Come up with innovative, cutting-edge trading ideas
  • Create tools for data analysis, to identify patterns
  • Develop analytical, computational libraries in order to support trading

The Candidate

  • A minimum of 2 years experience of quantitative trading in one or more futures
  • MSc/PhD from a top tier university
  • Strong quantitative background in mathematics and statistics with knowledge of and experience in statistical models and signal generation
  • Confidence in ability to create new strategies independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques
  • Data-mining skills paired up with data analysis skills. Previous experience operating with a large amount of tick/data would be beneficial
  • Strong programming skills in Python or C++
