Position Overview : Are you a creative, detail-oriented recent graduate eager to start your career in graphic design? Schiffer Publishing is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry-Level Graphic Designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and ready to tackle multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. With mentorship from seasoned professionals, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing books to life-from concept to print.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior designers to develop project concepts and execute revisions.
• Preflight, package, and prepare press-ready files for print production.
• Assist in the layout and production of catalogs, books, and promotional materials for both digital and print formats.
• Provide image retouching, clipping paths, and other image editing as needed.
• Reformat and resize files for foreign rights and translation projects.
• Partner with editors to review and perfect hard proofs from printers.
• Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong academic portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Illustrator.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment while handling multiple projects.
