Job Description

Coilcraft is a successful, privately-held company in Cary, IL with a worldwide reputation for high-quality passive electronic components. Coilcraft operates in a wide range of industries, including telecommunications, computers, automotive, broadband communications, and consumer electronics. We are seeking an HR Associate to join our team to assist with recruitment and EHS initiatives.

Responsibilities

Recruitment
  • Assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and requirements.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and cultural fit.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Assist in organizing career fairs, campus recruitment events, and other recruiting activities as needed.
Environmental Health and Safety
  • Support EHS compliance initiatives by assisting with inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
  • Maintain EHS documentation and records, ensuring they are current and accessible.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of EHS training programs for employees.
  • Collaborate with EHS officers to promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures as necessary to ensure compliance.
  • Participate in EHS committee meetings and contribute to discussions on safety improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices is a plus.
