SummaryOpportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join our team. The Manager II, Human Resources, will oversee and manage our West Chester HR operations, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals. Leadership and Management: Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.Policy Development: Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with company objectives.Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.Recruitment and Retention: Work with the Talent Acquisition team on the recruitment process, which includes submitting job requisitions, interviewing, and onboarding. Develop strategies to retain top talent and reduce turnover.Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.Compensation and Benefits: Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and Metrics: Monitor and analyze HR metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Provide regular reports to senior management.Labor Relations: Oversee the negotiation, implementation, and ongoing administration of collective bargaining agreements between the company and its trade union.Employee Engagement: Manage the bi-annual engagement survey program to include participation monitoring, communication plans and subsequent creation of focus groups and action plans to address associate feedbackCulture and Engagement: Promote a positive workplace culture and employee engagement through various initiatives and programs.Key Competencies:Strategic thinking and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretionStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentQualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
