IT Service Desk Manager Intro On behalf of one of our MSP clients; Procom Services is looking for an IT Service Desk Manager for a full time perm direct hire hybrid role in West Houston, TX (77084). Our client is a private, growing IT MSP located in West Houston providing remote, co-managed, and virtual CTO IT services to small & medium-sized businesses. They believe in building long-term relationships with our clients via exceptional client service, integrity, and results-driven solutions. IT Service Desk Manager Job Details As a high-performing IT service operations leader, the successful candidate is self-motivated, proactive, flexible, quick-thinking, and able to triage and manage multiple diverse priorities to ensure the quick, efficient, and consistent delivery of high-quality IT services. Managing a team of around fifteen Level 1 to Level 3 Techs, the right candidate has a mix of technical expertise, client service excellence, and leadership skills exhibited by strong judgment, a positive attitude, and the consistent pursuit of results servicing clients and team over self. IT Service Desk Manager Mandatory Skills

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT service management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a small to medium-sized organization.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security.
• Proficiency in ITSM tools and software (ConnectWise, Autotask, Kaseya).
• Proven ability to lead, train, and develop a team of IT professionals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
• Track record of excellent customer service, focusing on delivering significant value.

IT Service Desk Manager Desired Skills

• Experience working in an MSP environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
• Knowledge with Meraki, Cisco, Microsoft, Dell, Kaseya.
• Ability to translate long-term strategic vision and company goals into short-term tactics and functional goals.
• Ability to develop, manage, and maintain strong client relationships.
