Job Description

The Foggy Dog is looking for a talented, detail-oriented Junior Designer to help us bring our brand to life through visually compelling graphics and videos. In this role, you'll support our creative team in designing assets for marketing campaigns, social media, product launches, and more—all while helping us celebrate the joy that dogs bring into our lives. This position reports to the Senior Graphic Designer and is based in our San Francisco office location. We work in a hybrid model, which currently includes Tuesdays and Thursdays in-office. Responsibilities: Graphic Design (65%) Work with our Senior Graphic designer to create eye-catching, on-brand digital and print assets including website banners, paid ads, social media graphics, direct mail and more. Participate in marketing meetings to discuss design and content strategies. Help to organize and maintain an archive of creative assets. Photography and Video (25%) Assist with photo and video editing. Assist with monthly photoshoots by preparing product (e.g., steaming and organizing), model casting, day-of coordination and logistics, and capturing behind-the-scenes content. Depending on interest and experience, there is also the opportunity to help with video content ideation and creation for both organic and paid social media. Product Design (10%) Support the product development team by creating product mockups, pulling Pantone options, assisting with visual presentations, and creating tech packs. Other projects as needed (e.g., prop organization, fabric swatching, receiving and sending samples, help around the office). Requirements: 1-4 years of experience in graphic design (internships and school projects count!) or a related field. A degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is preferred but not required. A keen eye for design with an intuitive understanding of The Foggy Dog’s aesthetic. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); familiarity with Canva and Figma is a plus. Nice-to-have: experience creating repeat patterns for fabric. A strong portfolio showcasing your graphic design skills, with an emphasis on branding, digital design, and storytelling. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative team player who loves feedback and thrives on creativity.
