This is your chance to be part of an in-house Technology team creating consumer-facing, cutting-edge technologies that are revolutionizing the hospitality industry worldwide. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will bring your technical skills to a hospitality company with an award-winning culture. Reporting to the Director of Software Engineering, you will support projects including Opera PMS Integration.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your role is vital, and the following are some of the core responsibilities that make your work unique:
Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Lead Technical Execution & Code Quality
Hands-on development of software solutions
Perform deep code reviews focusing on performance, security, and architectural adherence (e.g., domain-driven design, microservices)
Enforce CI/CD standards, including pipeline setup, testing, and artifact management
Evaluate and recommend new frameworks, design patterns, or service enhancements to improve performance and user experience
Collaboration with others:
Lead a team of software engineers and technical staff, ensuring best practices
Work with cross-functional teams to define project scope and objectives
Communicate progress and concerns with partners
Ownership of deliverables:
Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT
Minimum qualifications:
Five (5) years of professional experience in Technology or related field
Four (4) years of experience in software development with a track record of leadership
Three (3) years of experience with Java, Microservices, and frameworks like Spring Boot
Proficiency in Java and front-end technologies like Node.js, Angular, React
Willingness to work a hybrid schedule near Dallas or Memphis
Up to 15% travel
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Seven (7) years of professional experience in Software Engineering
Experience with Python and C development
