About the Position

The position serves as the main point of contact to customers and assists with customer initiatives between various elements of the supply chain by forecasting supply and demand for products and planning the schedule for daily operations. Responsibilities may include developing computer models, serving as a contact for sales and production operations, developing, analyzing, and coordinating a variety of production, sales and customer reports.

Functions

  • Maintains and follows fundamental forecasting models to predict and adjust based on customer demand and strategy.
  • Utilizes computer programs and multiple systems to monitor and analyze sales, promotion, cyclical, customer, inventory, production.
  • Serves as a customer contact and provides information for sales, materials management, scheduling, product and operational forecasts.
  • Develops and maintains a variety of reports and dashboards regarding sales, customer promotions, costs, operations and other reports for customers or management.
  • Assists leadership with coordinating the introduction, modification, or discontinuation of products or product lines, which includes maintaining skew numbers, inventory and order levels, and product lists, communicating status across the departments, and other activities.
  • Develops relationships with stakeholders by resolving questions and concerns, developing and analyzing a variety of reports, and assisting with integrating operations and solutions.
  • Ensures compliance with department policies, processes, and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Identifies and defines proper processes and documentation to drive successful compliance with regulations
  • Assists with a variety of customer and internal projects, provides professional guidance, and recommends appropriate data-driven solutions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in material and production scheduling, planning manufacturing operations, transportation and logistics, inventory, or equivalent experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree (in engineering or manufacturing related field) from a four-year college or university preferred.
  • Project Management experience a plus.

Travel Requirements

  • This position is expected to travel approximately 25% or less.
