Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Manager who will be accountable for the shipping of all orders. Responsible for analyzing and developing logistics plans that maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• · Plans and co-ordinates transportation of customer orders.
• · Ensure that logistics schedule objectives are met ensuring quality standards
• · Prepare production reports on a timely basis and attend daily meetings to provide updates on scheduling.
• · Ensure efficient utilization of storage space and shipment of products, The candidate must be willing to use a forklift, help move products around.
• · Ensure that customers satisfaction throughout the flow of order processing
• · Develop freight partners to Reduce freight cost on an ongoing basis.
• · Collaborate with Production, Assembly, and Scheduling departments to ensure orders are shipped out on time

QUALIFICATIONS

• · Minimum 5+ years’ experience of logistics / freight experience, particularly in a manufacturing/warehousing environment.
• · CITT designation, considered an asset.
• · Proven experience negotiating preferred rates and providing excellent customer service.
• · Excellent command of Excel and Microsoft Office
