The Dunham company is looking for a Maintenance Technician for our Apartment Complexes in Sioux Falls, SD. The Maintenance Technician must have knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair. Carpentry, Drywall, Light Electrical and Plumbing experience are required.

Job Requirements

Perform daily maintenance work orders called in by tenants with-in 24 hours of receipt. Large maintenance issues consult Dunham Property Management. Be specifically responsible for the following:

* Perform light electrical repairs on items such as switches, outlets, circuits, etc.
* Perform light plumbing work such as cleaning stoppages, replace fittings and faucets, etc.
* Replace broken glass, tile, carpet, screens, garbage disposal fixtures, appliances, draperies, locks, etc.
* Perform carpentry work, such as fitting doors, freeing windows, replacing and building shelves and repairing broken windows and door trim
* Perform custodial work, such as removal of furniture, sweeping, emptying trash as necessary
* Touch up paint interior and exterior of buildings, all common areas and/or apartments
* Remove snow on sidewalks and pathways
* Participate in standby emergency schedule for evening, weekend and holiday coverage as necessary
* Be responsible for proper utilization of maintenance materials and time
* Complete maintenance requests in a timely fashion, adhering to maintenance priorities, assuring work is 100% complete

Pool Maintenance a plus, but can train

Handling maintenance, cleaning and detailing vacated apartments, upon completion of move-out inspection. Assure the unit is ready for showing and next move-in.

Continually inspect property for preventive maintenance items and required improvements, report all deficiencies to Dunham Property Management.

JOB CONDITIONS:

There is a frequent need to stand, stoop, walk, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform other similar actions during the course of the work day.
