Position: Teletherapy Clinician & In-Person Therapist (Livonia, MI area)

About the Role:
This position offers flexibility, with options for both teletherapy and in-person work in the Livonia, MI area. We are seeking licensed therapists with diverse specialties to join our team, including those who specialize in:
Substance Abuse Counseling
Marriage and Family Therapy
Group Therapy
Trauma-Informed Care
Sexual Health
LGBTQ+ Support
Child & Adolescent Therapy (including Autism and Adolescent LGBTQ+ support)
End-of-Life Counseling
Mental Health Conditions: Depression, Anxiety, Grief Counseling, etc.
Therapeutic Approaches: CBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychoanalytic Therapy, Strength-Based Counseling, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic services to individuals and families, helping them navigate challenges related to mental health, relationships, and life transitions.
Conduct thorough assessments to understand patients' psychosocial needs and work collaboratively to develop tailored care plans.
Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients.
Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, assisting them in accessing resources and services.
Advocate for patients' rights and ensure they receive appropriate care.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient interactions.
Supervise and support limited license medical social workers during therapy sessions, providing mentorship and guidance.
Participate in regular reviews with the team to track progress and enhance therapeutic outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
Active therapy license in Michigan (preferred).
Experience in medical social work or related field (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your schedule.
Knowledge of medical coding, research, and documentation practices is a plus.
