Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $240,000.00/yr Perception Software Engineer We are seeking a highly experienced Perception/Machine Learning Engineer to join a fast-growing autonomous vehicle company in San Francisco, developing advanced solutions for industrial automation! The Role: You'll develop and implement state-of-the-art ML perception techniques to enable autonomous vehicles to navigate complex environments. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll optimize models for real-world deployment, ensuring high performance on embedded systems. Design and refine machine learning models for perception tasks (object detection, segmentation, tracking, etc.). Optimize models for low-latency inference on embedded hardware. Build cloud-based training and data pipelines. Collaborate on sensor selection and integration. Write high-performance, well-tested software. Test your code in real-world environments. R equired experience: 7+ years of experience in computer vision, ML, and robotic perception. Strong foundation in deep learning, dataset management, and model optimization. Proficiency in modern C++ and Python. Experience with compute-constrained pipelines (TensorRT, quantization, CUDA). Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
