Title: Physical Therapy Tech

Employment Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday through Friday, variable hours between 7:00am - 6:00pm

City: Bettendorf

State: Iowa

Position Responsibilities:

• Assisting Clinicians in their treatment of patients
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary clinic by managing laundry, cleaning tables, vacuuming, and wiping down machines and other equipment as needed
• Exhibiting behaviors and practices that foster effective professional and therapeutic relationships with patients, family members, and team members
• Collaborating with all clinicians, staff, management, and physicians to safely achieve goals and cultivate effective relationships clinic-wide
• Ensuring the implementation of and compliance with all ORA policies, procedures, health and safety regulations
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and complying with all HIPAA rules and regulations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Previous outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience preferred, however not required
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and assist in lifting patients up to 300lbs
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with patients, families, and staff
• Knowledge of personal computer applications and Electronic Medical Record
