Job Description

POSITION PURPOSE

Diagnose and repair/replace plumbing problems to all applicable codes. Uphold all R.T. Moore quality standards. Perform all on-call duties in a designated rotation.

DUTIES, TASKS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

· Perform residential and commercial service calls independently with high accuracy.

· Repair or replace plumbing per code in an efficient manner.

· Arrive at the office by 7 am every morning unless otherwise approved by the Plumbing Field Superintendent.

· Report to the dispatched after every completed job to optimize the schedule.

· Follow R.T. Moore Quality Standards and Best Practices

· Maintain a positive attitude.

· Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked truck to perform daily service calls and achieve one call resolutions.

· Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

· Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to the Plumbing Field Superintendent.

· A high school diploma or GED is required

·4 years of experience preferred

WORKING CONDITIONS

· Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned indoor office setting

· Exposed to outdoor weather conditions including rain, humidity, snow, wind, cold, and heat.

· The environment may include very loud noises, working near mechanical and moving parts, working at various heights, and small, awkward, confining work space.

· There is the possibility of inhalation of fumes and airborne particles as well as risk of electrical shock and vibrations.

· Must be able to do the following activities for most of the workday: stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, see, talk and hear.

· Must be able to climb or balance regularly.

· Near constant lifting or carrying of items of various weight, typically up to 10 pounds most of the day. Capable of lifting at least 100 pounds on occasion.

· Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items, work with the fingers and perceive attributes of objects and materials.
