Program Director

Codman Square Health Center on behalf of the Randolph Healthy Collaborative is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Director to lead and manage our child health equity initiative, focusing on advancing health outcomes for youth and families in Randolph. The Program Director will work closely with Randolph Department of Public Health, Randolph Public Schools, Boys and Girls Club, Parent Leaders, and Youth, Community Leaders, and other stakeholders to create and implement programs that promote health equity. This position requires a deep understanding of the Randolph community and a commitment to advancing child health equity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Coordination: Oversee the planning and execution of the Healthy Randolph Collaborative's initiatives, ensuring alignment with community needs and the collaborative's mission.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with local youth, parents, caregivers, and community stakeholders to gather input and facilitate their participation in the program. Organize community listening sessions and workshops to promote the initiative and identify key priorities for action.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Convene and facilitate meetings with collaborative partners, including health care providers, educators, local governance, and community leaders. Foster a collaborative environment where stakeholders contribute effectively to program goals.
  • Youth Recruitment & Leadership Development: Collaborate with the Youth Health Advisory Council and Youth Career Development Program Manager to identify and select Randolph High School students and other local youth to participate in the collaborative. Develop youth leadership opportunities within the initiative.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect and analyze community health data, surveys, and needs assessments. Prepare reports summarizing findings and provide recommendations to the collaborative for addressing identified health disparities.
  • Program Planning & Implementation: Assist in the development of a four-year implementation plan and budget. Ensure that all program activities are executed within the framework of advancing health equity for youth in Randolph.
  • Grant Writing & Fundraising: Identify potential funding sources and assist with grant writing to secure additional financial resources to support the program.
  • Other duties or responsibilities related to health center operations or additional health center locations, as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in public health, healthcare administration, social work, or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Residency/Community Knowledge: The candidate must either reside in Randolph, MA or possess significant knowledge of the Randolph community.
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in healthcare, public health, or community-based programming. Experience with health equity initiatives, data analysis, grant proposals and program development are required. Familiarity with Randolph's local government, school systems (including Randolph Public Schools and Blue Hill Regional Technical Vocational School), and other community structures are highly desirable.
  • Skills & Abilities:
    • Strong leadership and facilitation skills.
    • Experience convening and managing stakeholder meetings.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire youth, parents, and community leaders.
    • Proven experience in data analysis, report writing, and grant writing.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
    • Familiarity with health equity principles and child health issues.

Additional Information: The Program Director will play a key role in the Healthy Randolph Collaborative's success and will be instrumental in promoting child health equity across the community. This is a full-time position based in Randolph, MA, with opportunities for professional growth and impact within a supportive and engaged community. This position is funded by a five-grant award by Boston Children's Hospital.
