Join Our Team as a Flight Test Project Manager!

As a Flight Test Project Manager , you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our flight test milestones and program requirements are met with precision and excellence. Your Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire Flight Test Request process, from receiving requests to allocating resources and assigning tasks to our talented Flight Test Engineers.
• Develop and manage integrated program/project schedules and certification activities to keep us on track.
• Craft financial plans for each Flight Test project, ensuring budget execution and financial performance analysis.
• Collaborate with various teams—Sales, Engineering, Production, and more—to ensure milestones are achieved according to schedule.
• Create tools and key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive-level transparency into program costs and schedules.
• Lead weekly Flight Test project meetings, driving decision-making processes forward.
• Maintain comprehensive logs for risks, actions, issues, and decisions.

What You Bring to the Table

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Business, or a related technical field.
• Experience in Flight Test, aircraft development, and aerospace program management.

Desired:

• 3+ years of Program/Project Management experience in the aerospace industry.
• Previous experience as a Flight Test Project Manager (e.g., Chief of Flight Test).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with Engineering, Production, Supplier, and Certification processes in aviation.
• Experience in airplane development and Flight Testing.
• Understanding of program/project management processes and procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project planning software like Microsoft Project.
• Exceptional presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 25%).

Working Conditions

• Exposure to operational noise, heat, cold, dust, and aircraft-related odors is routine.
• Physical activities may include standing, sitting, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.).
• Effective communication in Business English is essential.
