Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will not only plan, execute, and oversee IT projects (both customer-facing and internal company projects) but also contribute directly to project tasks as needed. This hybrid role requires strong project management expertise combined with technical proficiency to ensure that projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality expectations. You will manage multiple projects while balancing leadership responsibilities and hands-on project work.

Key Responsibilities 

Project Planning & Execution: 

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders. 

• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets. 

• Lead and contribute to the execution of project tasks, including system configurations, software installations, and troubleshooting, as needed. 

• Monitor and track project progress, addressing potential risks or delays proactively.

• Client & Stakeholder Management : 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. 

• Facilitate regular project status updates and manage client expectations. 

• Ensure all client requirements and objectives are clearly understood and met. 

• Team Coordination: 

• Collaborate with technical teams to assign and prioritize tasks. 

• Foster strong interdepartmental communication to ensure alignment on project goals. 

• Provide technical support and guidance to the team, stepping in to assist with tasks when necessary. 

• Quality Assurance & Reporting: 

• Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to agreed timelines. 

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including status reports and post-project reviews. 

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of best practices. 

• Technical Contributions: 

• Assist with system rollouts, network setups, and software deployments during high-priority or resource-constrained projects. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve project-related technical issues to ensure smooth delivery. 

• Test and validate completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications. 

Qualifications

• Proven experience in project management, preferably within an MSP or IT services environment.

• Strong understanding of IT services, including cloud computing, network management, and cybersecurity.

• Technical proficiency in IT systems, with hands-on experience in areas like network setup, software installation, or system administration.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Azure is strongly preferred.

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.

• Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and Agile methodologies is a plus.

• PMP, PRINCE2, or other relevant certifications are preferred.

• CMMC certified as a CCP strongly preferred. If not, willingness to get certified within the first 6 months of employment will likely be a requirement
