As a Driller, the selected candidate will be required to work in a team environment with other co-workers and managers. Our core values are safely, quality and integrity in everything we do. All Tilcon Connecticut employees are expected to partner with associates and management of Tilcon Connecticut Inc. to coordinate, support, and actively promote our safety process. This position will report directly to the drilling/blasting superintendent and will comply with mandatory safety requirements and other functions of the quarry team. Key Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate drilling equipment Maintenance of drills and compressors. Other mechanical related duties Qualifications Work Requirements Drilling experience Good mechanical ability. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Ability to perform strenuous work in varying weather conditions.
