Position Summary: The Recruiter is responsible for reviewing candidates in our applicant tracking system (ATS), phone screening, conducting new hire orientation and onboarding all new hires for our manufacturing plant in Montgomery, IL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Establishes and builds effective and successful relationships with hiring managers and HR business partners at all levels of the organization.
- Partners with hiring managers to develop and execute adaptable and flexible recruiting plans including sourcing, pre-qualifying, and closing offers with the selected candidates to meet business needs.
- Tracks results while ensuring compliance with company policy and/or established regulatory requirements at all times.
- Promotes Carl Buddig and Company as a family company and incorporates the values into the recruiting process.
- Manages candidates onboarding and orientation including on-going communication, interview itineraries and candidate follow-up during the process.
- Posts positions for hourly and salary positions.
- Conducts multiple new hire orientation sessions weekly.
- Works closely with staffing agencies to fill open positions.
- Provides weekly report to Talent Acquisition manager for all locations.
- Works with HR on orientations and start dates. Follows established hiring practices.
- Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
- Complete conversion with temporary labor (email agency & Buddig team).
- E-Verify all new hires.
- Tracks hours accumulated of temporary employees to be converted to Buddig employees.
- Responsible for entering new hires (temps and company employees in headcount report).
- Maintain temp list up to date with new temporary labor.
- Responsible for activating and making security cards for new hires.
- Responsible for tracking employee referral program.
- Attend offsite job fairs as needed.
- Post openings in other Montgomery, IL partnership websites.
Specific Knowledge, Skills, Licenses, Certifications, etc.: - 1-3 years' working experience. Preferably in manufacturing and/or with a staffing agency.
- ATS Experience (Jobvite, iCIMS or other ATS).
- Associates and/or bachelor's degree or 1 year of recruiting experience.
- Bi-lingual Spanish is highly recommended due to our workforce.
- Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.
- High level of professionalism.
- Must have organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
