At Banner Del Webb, our 3W/3B General Medical/Surgical PCU Unit is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse. You will work on our combined unit including both a 15-bed private room unit as well as our 29-bed semi-private room unit utilizing your knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data, plan and provide high quality, safe and efficient care for our patients. This unit participates in our Progress In Place initiative, meaning the patients cared for on our units have a variety of medical conditions and we serve both Medical Surgical and Progressive Care acuity patients, allowing our nurses the opportunity to continually grow in their abilities and develop strong RN skills. Whether a patient is post-surgical or one who is battling a COPD exacerbation, pneumonia, pancreatitis, renal failure or hypoxia; you will have the opportunity to drive their plan of care and maximize your nursing practice. Our RN’s utilize critical thinking to drive patient care and outcomes. Opportunities to advance the profession, the unit and your knowledge base are available and highly encouraged!

We are currently hiring for a full time night shift working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7pm - 7:30am. This position offers a weekend differential of a flat rate $3/hour as well as 18% night differential when applicable.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice utilizing the framework for professional nursing practice and development. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others who are under their direction. This position utilizes specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills necessary to assess data and plan, provide and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients.
9.Interacts with all levels of staff in a variety of departments, physicians, patients, families and external contacts, such as employees of other health care institutions, community providers and agencies, concerning the health care of the patient. Interacts with other health care providers in numerous settings in order to report and ask for or clarify information. Also works with clergy to provide spiritual support. Synthesizes and prioritizes data from multiple sources to provide support for the human response of the patient and family to changes in health status.
