Summary

APCO, a leading provider of automotive protection products, is seeking a Product Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance Department. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining contracts, including vehicle service contracts and guaranteed asset protection (GAP) waivers, ensuring compliance with state regulations and lender requirements. The analyst will also manage regulatory filings with various state Departments of Insurance and lenders, securing necessary approvals. Additionally, this individual will provide support for compliance-related projects and assist the team in meeting critical deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Draft, revise, and proofread contracts such as vehicle service contracts and GAP waivers.

Prepare forms for regulatory filings, printing, and distribution to the sales force.

Maintain and update a state-specific language library and forms database.

Oversee cancellation and transfer rule updates for all forms.

Map and upload forms into the system for e-contracting, troubleshooting any mapping-related issues.

Prepare and submit regulatory filings to ensure compliance with state laws and lender business rules.

Provide support to Compliance team members on various projects and assignments as needed.

Education and Experience

Associate degree, Paralegal coursework/certification, or equivalent experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience or knowledge of automobile dealership finance & insurance (F&I) processes and products.

Background in contract drafting, compliance, legal research, or statutory/regulatory review.

Skills and Qualifications

Strong understanding of automobile service contract and ancillary F&I product regulations (preferred).

Ability to interpret and apply laws and regulations.

Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to shifting priorities.

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type and work on a computer for extended periods. The employee must be able to sit for prolonged durations.
