Department/Unit Summary

Our Case Management Department primarily serves the adult population in our community. Our hospital has a lower than national average patient ratio. Our team's approach to offering safe discharge planning is the use of a Utilization RN and Case Manager RN, in conjunction with a Social Worker.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

Applicants should have a current VA (or Multi-state) RN license and possess a nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred). Additional requirements include:

· American Heart Association Basic Life Support

· Experience in Utilization Review preferred

· Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including weekends and holidays to ensure continuity of care and appropriateness of nursing coverage to the patients of Sovah Health Danville on all units.
