Job Summary: We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Security Guard for foot patrol to join our security team. The primary responsibility is to ensure the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors by patrolling the assigned area on foot. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle security-related incidents calmly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises on foot to ensure security, safety, and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and control access points, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents, providing assistance and coordination with law enforcement if necessary.
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, safety hazards, or security breaches to your Supervisor.
• Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and unusual occurrences.
• Enforce rules, regulations, and policies to ensure a safe and secure environment.
• Assist in the implementation of emergency procedures and evacuations if necessary.
• Collaborate with other security personnel and management to enhance overall security measures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
• Valid security guard license and certifications as required by state law.
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Good physical condition, able to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of security protocols and emergency procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Availability to work various shifts, including overnights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs if required.
• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations.
