Senior Accountant
Sunrise, FL (Hybrid)
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Oversee accounting operations across all business entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Manage cash flow, including forecasting and daily cash reconciliations.
• Process vendor payments and generate customer invoices in a timely manner.
• Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, ensuring data integrity.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to mitigate risk and enhance reporting accuracy.
• Develop and refine systems for financial data collection, analysis, and verification.
• Oversee or perform daily reconciliation of cash disbursements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
• Reconcile banking and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
• Collaborate with accounting staff to ensure timely financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end close process.
• Assist with audit and tax preparations, responding promptly to inquiries.
• Support financial forecasting by analyzing variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor revenue and expenses, consolidate financial data, and produce specialized reports as needed.

Qualifications of the Senior Accountant:

• Bachelors in Accounting/Finance or related
• Experience working for a company that has had a lot of change (think Private Equity firm)
• Comfortable in a face paced work environment
• Healthcare experience (+)
