Boqueria Restaurants is currently seeking a talented and driven Sous Chef for our Nashville restaurant to open in January 2022! We are offering an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent leadership skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a genuine passion for cooking. As a Sous Chef at Boqueria, you will be responsible for consistently executing the culinary direction of the Executive Chef and creating a positive work culture by personally exemplifying our core values. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the kitchen infrastructure is properly maintained and overseeing the kitchen's preparedness for DOH inspections during shifts.

ABOUT YOU:

**Qualifications**

Excited to lead a high-functioning BOH team

Ability to manage food and labor cost in order to maximize profitability

Can ensuring that DOH standards are always followed

Culinary skills and knowledge necessary to execute entire Boqueria menu to the highest standards

Thorough knowledge of food handling practices. Food Protection Certificate

Understanding of financial implications of operational decisions (ability order product and schedule labor within budget)

Ability to form and lead a strong BOH team

Basic computer and written communication skills

Ability to organize, prioritize and anticipate

Effective communication skills
