Summer Intern

Description:

As a Summer Intern at our Kansas City-based technology startup, you will work on a variety of special projects throughout the summer, gaining exposure to all aspects of a startup. Your tasks will include sales, marketing, social media, finance, and app testing.
You’ll be part of a small team, receiving individualized attention and participating in hands-on work related to event staffing for major events like Coachella, South by Southwest, Super Bowl, and Formula 1.

Requirements:

We seek self-starters who can quickly learn in a fast-paced, adaptable startup environment.
Required skills include being tech-savvy and comfortable using computers, phones, and various apps and programs.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with Google Docs, Hubspot or similar CRMs, strong internet research skills, and experience managing professional social media pages.

Benefits:

Minimum of 15 hours per week , working during regular business hours (Mon-Thurs, 10am-4pm).
Flexible start date based on class schedules.
The first month is in-person at coworking spaces in downtown Kansas City, with flexible remote work options available later in the summer and during the school year.
Part-time continuation possible after summer based on fit.
Hourly wage of $16.
