Job Description
Stone & Key Cellars, a boutique winery, is seeking a full-time Tasting Room Manager for their location in the heart of downtown Ambler, PA. Stone & Key Cellars follows an urban winery model and makes a diverse array of wines and ciders.
Job Summary:
The Tasting Room Manager works directly with the Owner. They are responsible for the planning and coordinating of all aspects of the Tasting Room and play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth operation and continued success. The ideal candidate would be a self-starter who is looking to become an integral member of a small team of like minded people. This position allows opportunities to develop programs, highlight your strengths, and grow with the company.
Tasting Room Management
Ensure the tasting room is properly maintained: equipment, supplies, aesthetics, and cleanliness
Monitor the setup of the tasting room for service on a daily basis
Interact with guests to ensure a positive guest experience
Maintain and updating printed menus
Update software as needed with inventory and staff changes
Develop and implement local BYOB table side delivery program
Staff Management
Schedule Tasting Room staff
Train staff on fundamental restaurant service practices
Educate staff on wines, ciders, and beverages offered by Stone & Key Cellars
Develop SOPs and instructions for staff
Keep track of RAMP certification for all staff members
Event Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute private parties and events
Develop, promote, and coordinate events and entertainment in the Tasting Room
Marketing
Develop and implement effective promotions – coupons, social media, etc.
Coordinate with social media marketing and website providers
Work with local small businesses for cross promotion opportunities
Additional duties may include:
Coordinate off-site events such as farmers markets, community festivals, wine/cider festivals
Social media marketing
Develop product descriptions through tastings with production staff
Ability to work occasional tasting room shifts
Develop kitchen program
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of Food and Beverage Management Experience
Team player
Strong customer service skills
Leadership abilities and tendencies
Organization and time management skills
Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Wine certification through recognized education organizations
