Prokatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York.

Salary: $2,550.28/week.

Medical specialty: Operating Room.

Standard shift: Days

Weekly schedule: 3x12

Shift Timings: 07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, 01 day of call a week, and 01 weekend / month.

Number of Beds in the Unit: 14 (10 OR & 02 Robotics).

Floating Required: Yes.

Scrub Color: Scrubs provided.

Common Patient Diagnosis: ENT, ortho, urology, general surgery, neuro, podiatry, plastics, and trauma.

EMR Experience: EPIC.

Description:
Provides direct care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
They assist the surgical team by preparing the operating room, ensuring sterile techniques, and managing surgical instruments.
The RN monitors patients' vital signs, administers medications, and supports anesthesia care.
Additionally, they provide post-operative care, including patient monitoring and education for recovery.

Required Skills & Experience:
Minimum 02 years' of Operating Room experience required.
Trauma and Neuro experience required.

Education:
Required Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.

Minimum Degree Required:
Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO)

Preferred Education:
Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:
Current NY State RN License with NURSYS Report Licenses verification required.
BLS required.
PALS preferred.
