Position Details:

• State Licensure: GA state licensed (required) 

Previous Experience Desired:

• Prefer candidates with experience in Assertive Community Treatment programs.
• Applicable experience may include crisis stabilization, field psychiatry (unhoused population), correctional psychiatry, etc.

Submission Requirements:

• Describe your experience with Assertive Community Treatment programs.
• Explain any past experience working with underserved patients (homeless, incarcerated, reentry programs, crisis stabilization, etc).
• Confirm comfort in treating youth and adolescents with multiple co-occurring disorders.

Type of Need:

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: Ongoing, minimum 13 - 26 week assignment

Schedule & Weekly Hours:

• Flexible, minimum 24 hours/week
• Can accommodate 10-hour or 8-hour shifts

Rates: $180 - $195/hr

Types of Cases/Procedures:

• Intensive program for underserved and high-risk patients, including those recently incarcerated or at risk.
• Patients often have conflicts with the legal system.
• Youth, adolescents, and adults with co-occurring disorders, addiction, substance abuse, medication non-compliance, and serious persistent mental illnesses.

Patient Volume:

• New visits: 45-60 minutes
• Follow-ups: 20-30 minutes
• Flexible patient volume based on physician requirements.

EMR System: Qualifax and Care Logic

Tele-psych System: Run through VC platform, tele equipment supplied by the organization.

Department Support:

• 3 other psychiatrists working at least 32 hours/week.
• There are four MHNPs for the youth outpatient center.
• LVN, RN, and Administrative Assistants available to assist with tele-visits.

Interview Process:

• Interview with the Executive Director
• Expected time from submission to interview: 72 hours
• Interview to offer: 72 hours

Orientation:

• First 1-2 days focused on EMR and tele-visit system training.
