Job Description

Our client in the Construction industry is seeking a Utility Transmission Project Manager to join their team. As a Utility Transmission Project Manager, you will be part of the Transmission and Distribution practice supporting transmission projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and experience with transmission design and construction documents or for a related construction project as roads, gas lines or fiber. Relocation provided, market base, ESOP and annual bonus as well.

Job Title: Utility Project Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay Range: $140,000 - $200,000+ DOE total comp plus ESOP, 401K, etc.

What's the Job?

• Manage, direct and coordinate all aspects of work related to transmission lines projects
• Prepare proposals, assist in presentations, and participate in contract negotiations
• Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope, and control project costs
• Assist with internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, risk management, change management, and human resource issues
• Participate in the strategic planning and development of sales and marketing plans and activities related to trade shows, trade journal advertisements, and customer relationship functions

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited curriculum
• Minimum of seven years of utility transmission project experience with at least 3 years related project management experience
• Professional Engineering (PE) registration required
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
