UITS CLIENT TECHNOLOGY SUPPORT (UA-COSS-IUINA)

The Health Technology Support (HTS) unit within the Division of Computer Technology Support, delivers a wide range of IT support and services for physicians, researchers, health care teams, faculty members, and IU health sciences staff.

This Work-Study position will be under the direction of the onsite HTS Team Lead in the IU School of Nursing building.

Department-Specific Responsibilities

  • Provides entry-level IT hardware and software support to the faculty and staff in the IU School of Nursing.
  • Works with the onsite HTS staff on special projects and computer deployments; all work will be documented using the ticketing system used by the HTS staff.

  • Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University.
  • Work-study eligible.

This position requires the ability to communicate effectively and to operate computers and other related technical equipment. The role is required to maintain and interact with computers and frequently move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Student must be qualified for the Federal Work-Study Program and able to submit required paperwork when requested.
