We are looking for an amazing sales professional to fulfill the role of onboard Future Cruise Consultant. You will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and will be directly responsible for revenue production by selling future cruises to our guests onboard. Promotes company products to guests through one-on-one consultations, onboard marketing & attending social events onboard. Responsibilities: Work on board a vessel, selling future cruise bookings to current passengers. Daily one-to-one guest consultations, maximizing revenue generation through onboard bookings. Holding desk hours in the morning and afternoon on days at sea, and at an appropriate time on port days. Special hours for ‘Suite guests only’ in the Neptune Lounge. Work with the AHGM and Media Manager to coordinate and manage all marketing and advertising for the program onboard. This includes Navigator App, Onboard Revenue ad drop, IPTV, cabin drops, positive surprises and cross promotions. Managing the supply, display, and distribution of flyers on board. Gives Future Cruise presentations in the ships theatre; focusing on itineraries, exciting ports of call, and the benefits of booking onboard. The presentation should be geared toward generating interest in future cruises with HAL, resulting in more bookings onboard. Social Hosting and other Formal Functions. These can include but are not limited to: Captains introductions, Lobby Ambassador, Officer walk around, dining table hosting, Mariners Party, VIP Party, Suite Welcome Party and Group or Travel Agent functions. Socializing with guests as much as possible is required. Building good relationships with guests, and creating an awareness of the benefits of booking onboard. Conducting oneself in a professional manner at all times onboard, following house rules and brand standards. Requirements: A minimum of two years prior guest facing sales experience is required. Strong verbal & presentation skills. Ability to write and execute scripts for 45-55 minute lectures. Computer knowledge including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, POLAR Proven track record for developing new and innovative sales and marketing strategies.
