Job Description: Fidelity Labs is seeking a Principal Content Designer to work across two exciting fintech teams. As a key teammate, this role will deliver product and marketing content. The ideal candidate is passionate about translating sophisticated financial concepts into understandable and compelling writing, grounded in compassion and thoughtfulness. The Expertise and Skills you Bring Expert writing skills and ability to align with brand and style guidelines 8+ years of work experience in some combination of content design, UX design, content strategy, copywriting, or similar role in a related field BA/BS degree in English, creative writing, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience The ability to partner with peers (researchers, designers, and product managers) to understand the customer and to design effective content Ability to self-motivate, stay organized, and self-manage time and tasks Good listening skills and the ability to communicate content design rationale to key partners outside of the design team (such as business, legal, technology teams) Ability to create and document new processes and thrive in ambiguity with flexibility The Value You Deliver Bringing business ideas to life through storytelling, writing, and professional communication Inspiring and facilitating idea generation techniques through the impulse to improve existing designs, invent new experiences, and perform better than our competition Sharing your expertise with design and product teams that wants to develop their skills to be the best in the industry Ensuring that the teams’ work includes high quality content and are clear and impactful The Team We are Fidelity Labs, Fidelity Investments’ in-house fintech incubator with a mission to build new businesses to drive growth for Fidelity.
