Career Opportunity – Production Scheduler with Building Composites in Moraine, OH

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm

Your Role: As a Production Scheduler at Building Composites, you will lead production support activities pertaining to production planning, material requisitions, inventory control, and product data management to support customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Production Scheduling and work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule manufacturing work orders to meet customer delivery requirements.
  • Ensure raw material and purchased part requirements are complete and accurate to meet the production schedule.
  • Review production results to ensure scheduled work orders are completed on time to meet customer order dates.
  • Promote and maintain awareness and compliance with EH&S in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.
  • Enforce and adhere to company policies and procedures per Quality Management System, Safety manual, and Employee handbook.
  • Perform any other duties as required by the Engineering/Production Management.

  • Education: Associate degree in Business Administration or a related field (equivalent experience acceptable).
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational and time management skills, and strong computer skills.
  • Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and able to work in a team environment or independently.
  • Experience: Leadership of Production Planning, Procurement, or Inventory Management. Experience in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Ability to implement and manage change in the organization. Must be a relationship builder who can work with all levels of the organization. Must be able to mentor team leaders and team members.
  • Work Environment: Ability to stand for extended periods, occasional lifting of materials up to 25 pounds, and adherence to safety protocols in a standard manufacturing environment focused on teamwork and collaboration.
